1950’s Style Apron

I was able to take a little break from sewing items for my Esty shop and my offline sales to make something quick and easy for myself.

I purchased this cute 50’s apron pattern some time ago from an Etsy seller and just sewed it up this week.

It is a very basic apron with very few pieces and super easy to sew.

I made view B but decided to draft a simple bib to make a full apron instead.  I used a fat quarter piece that I had in a purple print for the back of the bib part.

When I took a trip to Mexico a couple of years ago, I brought back this cotton sugar skull fabric not knowing what I would make with it.

I added ties at the waist and at the top of the bib.

I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.  I love skulls!
